Greenridge is a city dominated by organized crime. Gangs run rampant. The Mob is at large. And now, a new, more menacing threat has appeared. The Jester, a psychopathic killer, has popped up in the city, giving a new meaning to the word chaos. He plans to overthrow the entire underworld, plunging the city into a crime riddled wasteland. Devin Carter, a level-headed genius detective, is on the case. He and Police Commissioner Morgan must track down and stop the villian before it is too late. But there is a second hope; recently, a vigilante has begun to patrol the streets of Greenridge. If they team up, there is a chance they can stop this fire before it burns the whole of Greenridge.

 

 

The guys over at PWN just so happen to love the Dark Knight Trilogy. Unlike most superhero movies (i.e. Amazing Spiderman 2, Iron Man 3, Fantastic Four, etc.), the Dark Knight films tell a captivating story where the characters seem more like real people, and the action is more engaging.

 

And so we were thinking, 'We should totally make a superhero movie.' We won't go too far into the details, as that might spoil the plot, but that's where the idea for MITM was born. It slowly molded from a shot-for-shot parody, to a very deep and complex crime drama of it's own. It does contain the Batman v. Joker plotline, and the opening scene is an homage to the bank robbery masterpiece, but it introduces the story of the Mob versus the Cartel, how the criminal underbelly of Greenridge operates, and the Jester's plot to overthrow the underworld entirely.
